Dual use of the same land: solar modules, usually elevated or vertical, above or between crops or grazing, producing food and energy at the same time.
Under Mexico's Electricity Sector Law (DOF 2025-03-18), plants under 0.7 MW are Exempt / Distributed Generation and need no CNE permit. CFE interconnection is requested through Ventanilla Energía procedure 360. The exemption does not waive any applicable environmental assessment.
LISR art. 34 sec. XIII allows a 100% immediate deduction for renewable generation machinery and equipment, provided it operates for at least 5 years. Check with your accountant.
GDMTH, GDMTO, PDBT and agricultural tariffs (9, 9M, 9CU, 9N). For GDMTH/GDMTO, savings are computed on energy charges only: we exclude demand/capacity and distribution charges, which PV does not reliably reduce. If you don't enter that breakdown, we assume energy is ~60% of the bill.
No. It is an indicative pre-sizing with visible assumptions. An AgroWatts engineer validates it with a site visit and engineering.
Yes. AgroWatts carries out environmental studies and supports the preparation of the MIA (Manifestación de Impacto Ambiental) and the ETJ (Estudio Técnico Justificativo) when your project requires them. The competent authority evaluates and resolves each procedure; we do not guarantee approvals or timelines.
